🧱 Early Spoilers & Highlights
These are cards already shown (or leaked) that are getting people excited:
Krang, Master Mind — Legendary creature with Affinity for artifacts. If you have fewer than four cards, draw up to four. Could shake up artifact-heavy builds.
Turtles Forever — Instant that lets you search among legendary creatures you own (library or outside game), reveal, an opponent picks two, etc. Very Gifts Ungiven vibes.
Super Shredder — Grows whenever any permanent leaves the battlefield. That’s wide-reaching value in token / sacrifice decks.
Doubling Season (Source Material version) — One of the first revealed bonus art prints in the set. As always, this card is a Commander staple.
Mechanics & New Flavors:
Mutagen Tokens — A new mechanic: pay 1, tap, sacrifice the artifact to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature. (Sneaky, consistent with TMNT’s “mutation / tech” themes)
Sneak mechanic — A rework of Ninjutsu: can use it on instants and sorceries and cards not in hand, triggered when a creature is unblocked.
Boss cards & co-op mode — New product “Turtle Team-Up” features boss encounters (like ArchEnemy style) that fight the players.
🔄 Implications for Formats & Decks
Commander / Casual
Doubling Season reprint? Always a boost.
Super Shredder will likely see play in token / sacrifice tables.
Turtles Forever and Krang give new toolkit options for legendary and artifact synergy.
Borderless Kevin Eastman headliner cards for the turtles themselves (Leonardo, Raphael, etc.) are confirmed. These are expected to be chase pieces.
Source Material / bonus art prints are rarer — only 1 in 28 play boosters will have them.
Because this is a Universes Beyond crossover with strong IP nostalgia, there may be strong secondary market interest.
✅ Summary & What to Watch
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is shaping up to be one of the more flavorful (literally) Universes Beyond sets. It has fresh mechanics, nostalgic IP, and some serious potential in Commander / casual. Keep your eyes especially on Krang, Super Shredder, Turtles Forever, and the Source Material Doubling Season.
We don’t yet have full spoilers, but official preview season begins February 10, 2026
